Hope Bell-Winner of our Guild’s CQA Challenge

Nine Lanark guild members entered the Canadian Quilter’s Association 2019 guild challenge  — use the Pantone 2019 Colour of the Year – Ultra Violet – along with two other colours and create a mini quilt in the theme of  “Quilting Goes Viral”.

And Hope Bell was our winner, with the entry at left.

Her piece will be on display at Quilt Canada in June in Ottawa — if you’re attending make sure to visit the Challenge section and VOTE, since 1st place amongst all the guild entries will be viewers choice!!

The mini quilts will then travel for one year across Canada as a trunk show for other Canadian guilds to host.

Click on each image to see the name of the guild member who made the mini-quilts.
