February 2014 Meeting

A 30 minute discussion was held on Executive positions including length of terms, how to recruit, afternoon meetings versus evening meetings for Jan and Feb.  Donations for the November 15th Sale are coming in and reminding members who are donating items to ensure they enter their name in for the draw which will be held in June.  She also advised that the Perth Fair Board is looking for women’s organizations to enter a display at the fair.  The UFO Challenge resulted in 15 items, and the lucky winner received the loonies as well as a rotary cutter, ruler and markers package.  Cathy advised that this month’s block is a 3-part pattern and also showed a mock-up of the 200 blocks for the Dear Perth quilt to be made and that kits were available.
